Why Does Everyone Love Nemesis at Alton Towers?
Nemesis is a prominent inverted roller coaster originally built at Alton Towers Resort, England. Exciting design, harsh rides and wild entertainment gave a lot of problems to all those die-hard fans who are also of extreme sports from the year it first opened in 1994. Nemesis was the first ever inverted roller coaster in Europe and opened up a whole new sensation of riding experiences with passengers sitting below the track on as their feet dangled freely – giving cut-off-the-floor-and-go-away views.
The coaster was created by legendary ride designer John Wardley, and designed to overcome the difficulties of Alton Towers' restrictive height limits. This meant that the ride was constructed in and out of deep trenches and ravines, enhancing speed as it hurtles through the landscape. With a few thrilling drops, four exciting inversions and non-stop speed throughout the ride all make this an unforgettable coaster.
The core of Nemesis, referred to in its namesake section, focuses on clashes with the fantastical beast, which has been found buried beneath the subtropical park, and piece de la résistance the striking moment of that track done wonders by making the riders feel a giant tentacular creature is hurling them about. Since it includes rocks, falls, caverns and other foreign artifacts, the vivid theme captivates more and more people making the attraction not simply a coaster, but rather a journey through a fairytale.
Although almost 30 years has passed, Nemesis is still extremely popular among roller coaster fans and normal visitors. Rapid, fluid and exciting roller coaster ride with positive g loading – up to 3.5 G – is delighting a heavy share of panic makers throughout the ages. A major refurbishment is planned and Nemesis is expected to please its visitors still for many years ensuring the place of one of the greatest and most important roller coasters in the world history.
